When you use our website to make a payment, we collect the following types of information:

  • Payment Card Data: This includes your card number (PAN), expiration date, cardholder name, and any other information required to complete the payment transaction. We collect this information solely for the purpose of processing your payment.

When you visit our website to order photos we need to collect certain information to ensure all goods reach you. This also opens lines of communication between us and enables us to provide a professional service to you.  Information such as your name, address, phone number, email address and school information are required.

What we do with the information we gather

We collect information about you to process your orders, manage your account and, if you agree, send you offers related to our products & services.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Controlling your personal information

When using parts of our website you may encounter forms to fill out with your email address or other personal information at which time you will have the option whether we may contact your pertaining to that form or event.

If you have created an account with us, you can update your account information at any time by logged into your account and using the My Account area.

If you wish to have your information removed from our system, you may email us at support@heritageproductions.co.nz with your request and we will process that as soon as possible.

Services 

We photograph schools including classes and individual portraits, we photograph every student that is there on the day and then parents can purchase photos if they wish using the order card given to students approximately 2 working weeks after the photo date.



Shipping & Delivery

There are multiple shipping options depending on when you order. we aim to print and deliver orders approximately 2 weeks after free bulk shipping closes or 2 weeks after if you place a late order 

Free Bulk Shipping -  We offer free bulk shipping to the school if you order within the time period stated on your order card. Your order will be sent to your school approximately 2 weeks after bulk shipping deadline closes. 

NZ Post Standard Mail - If you order after the free bulk shipping deadline we will send your order directly to you via NZ Post Standard Mail at a fee, Your order will be sent to your address approximately 1 week after your order.




Payment Processing

Heritage Productions uses third-party payment processors, Stripe and Eway, to securely process your payment card transactions. These platforms comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) to ensure your card information is handled securely.

  • Stripe: Stripe is a global online payment processor that securely processes payments on our behalf. Payment card data transmitted to Stripe is encrypted and tokenized, meaning that we do not store sensitive card information.
  • Eway: Eway is another secure payment processor we use to handle online payments. Similar to Stripe, Eway ensures your payment card data is encrypted and securely transmitted.

Security of Your Payment Card Data

We take the security of your payment card data seriously. When transmitting payment card information through our website, we use industry-standard encryption protocols, including TLS (Transport Layer Security), to ensure that your data is transmitted securely.

  • Encryption: All payment card data is encrypted during transmission using SSL/TLS encryption to protect it from unauthorized access.
  • Tokenization: Both Stripe and Eway utilize tokenization technology, replacing your card information with a secure token. This token is used for future transactions, and the actual card details are never stored by us.
  • Compliance with PCI DSS: Both Stripe and Eway are PCI DSS compliant, meaning they meet the security standards set forth by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council to ensure the safe processing of payment card data.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your payment card data with third parties, except as necessary to process your transaction or comply with legal obligations. Specifically:

  • Third-Party Processors: We share your payment card data only with Stripe and Eway for the purpose of processing your payment. These processors have access to your payment card data only as necessary to complete the transaction.
  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, court order, or similar legal process, or to respond to government or regulatory requests.

Data Retention

We do not store your payment card details directly. Payment card information is processed by Stripe or Eway, and we retain only essential information needed for order fulfillment and customer service, such as:

  • Order history
  • Tokenized reference IDs for future payments (via Stripe or Eway)
  • Contact and billing information for customer service purposes


Returns & Refunds

At Heritage Productions, we take great pride in providing high-quality photography products and services. We understand that sometimes things may not meet your expectations, and we are committed to resolving any issues promptly and fairly.

1. Eligibility for Refunds Refunds are available under the following conditions:

  • Defective Products: If you receive a photo product that is damaged, defective, or does not match the specifications agreed upon, you may be eligible for a refund or replacement.
  • Error on Our Part: If we make an error in processing your order (e.g., incorrect images, wrong sizes, or poor print quality due to our mistake), we will gladly offer a refund or reprint at no additional cost.

2. Return Process To request a refund or replacement, please follow these steps:

  • Contact our customer service team at support@heritageproductions.co.nz or 03 365 3554 within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and any supporting images of the defective or incorrect product.
  • We may request that you return the product to us for inspection (shipping costs will be covered by Heritage Productions if the issue is due to our error).

3. Non-Refundable Products Please note that we do not offer refunds for the following:

  • Change of Mind: If you simply change your mind after the order is placed, we cannot offer a refund.
  • Customized Products: Orders that are custom-made or personalized, such as prints with specific edits, names, or messages, are not eligible for a refund unless defective or an error has occurred on our part.
  • Digital Products: Downloads or digital products are non-refundable once they have been accessed or downloaded.

4. Refund Method Once your return is processed and accepted, we will issue a refund to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account.
